Delegation of University of Wisconsin-Madison visited NJUPT

On the morning of November 15th, Mr. Martin Rouse, director of Adult Career and Student Services at University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), together with Ms. Zufang Shan, assistant director of Adult Career and Student Services, visited NJUPT.

Vice-president of NJUPT, Researcher Wang Chengkuan extended gracious welcome to the two distinguished guests from the United States, and expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality that he received when he visited UW-Madison last year. Vice-president Wang also showed his hope to sign a cooperation and exchange agreement that should receive further refinement and implementation through this visit on the basis of the cooperation projects discussed last year. Mr. Martin Rouse thanked Vice-president Wangfor his gracious meeting, and introduced some aspects of UW-Madison in detail, such as the geographical location, the general situation of teachers and students, and the well-known alumni and etc.. He quite agreed with what vice-president Wang Chengkuan said, and further elaborated the details of the cooperation between the two universities in terms of short-term credit exchange, long-term degree learning and teachers' scientific research and other aspects. He hoped that the two universities could, on the basis of existing cooperation projects, put the thoughts of cooperation into practice as soon as possible.
