On the morning of November 17th, the Vice President Jason Reinoehl and the Vice President Jennifer Howe and other six visitors from University of Dayton (UD) visited NJUPT for cooperation discussion.
The Vice President of NJUPT, Prof. ZHANG Zhihua warmly welcomed the delegation from University of Dayton (UD). He introduced the university development strategy, predominant disciplines, international cooperation and exchanges and many other aspects of NJUPT. He also mentioned that the NJUPT has been approved by MoE as the “World First-class Discipline Construction University” and Jiangsu High Level Construction University. With this opportunity, Vice President ZHANG Zhihua believed that deepening the cooperation with each other can be feasible and proposed the idea on joint education. On behalf of the delegation, Vice President Jason Reinoehl appreciated of UD appreciated the warm reception of our university. Besides, he made the introduction of University of Dayton’s development history, overview of the faculties, the situation of students innovation and entrepreneurship and etc.. The Vice President Jason Reinoehl greatly approved the proposal of cooperation advanced by the Vice President ZHANG Zhihua and hoped to expand the cooperation mode on the base of the existing student short-term credits exchange program. What’s more, the Vice President Jason Reinoehl invited the Vice President ZHANG Zhihua to visit the China Reserch Institute established by UD in Suzhou. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions and reached consensus on ways of cooperation and course credits recognition. The new agreement will be signed in the near future.
