On the afternoon of November 12th, 2018, Dr. Gary Matkin, Vice President of the University of California, Irvine, and Mr. Cai Ming, Chinese Market Coordinator of the School of Continuing Education visited our school and held a negotiation meeting with Vice President Zhang Zhihuapresent.
Vice President Zhang Zhihua expressed welcome to Dr. Gary Matkin and his delegation. He hoped that the two sides would start from the short-term exchange program of students and gradually expand to the master degree program while encouraging cooperation in teachers’ academic research. Vice-President Gary Matkin highlighted the model of student exchange programs that have been carried out when they collaborated with other domestic universities. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on student visiting model, issuance of the transcripts for the visit, scholarship setting and teacher training, and reached aconsensus.
