The 2019 China Dragon and Lion Dance Competition (Yangzhong Station) was held in Yangzhong, Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province from March 6th to 10th. Twenty-one dragon and lion dance tams and hundreds of athletes from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries or regions participated in the competition. The team of our school won the gold medal in the traditional dragon dance competition with 8.85 points.
Our dance dragon team was formally established on March 5, 2019, with 20 members from 9 countries. Focusing on the well-designed theme of One Belt, One Road, players gave full play to the glorious history of the ancient Silk Road by virtue of dragon dance, vividly demonstrating the dragon's vigor, spirit and essence. This was how they won judges’ appreciation and audience’s applause.
