On June 24th, the three-player basketball team, composed by three female players, one of them an alumna of our school, won the final in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup held in the Netherlands. China beat Hungary by 19 to 13, sweeping all its seven competitors. This was a record basketball championship, which also earned China entrance to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. An alumna called Jiang Jiayin who just graduated in 2018 contributed a lot in the match, scoring 35 points altogether. Thus she was selected to be the MVP (Most Valuable Player) and member of the bestteam.

It is also worth noting that at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, Jiang Jiayin and his teammates cooperated perfectly to win the Japanese team in the final and secured a gold medal in the three-person basketball match for women'steam.
