From December 29 to 31, 2024, the Annual Conference of the Jiangsu Higher Education Association's Committee for International Student Education Management and Research was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. During the conference, awards for international student education in Jiangsu Province in 2024 were presented, and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) was appraised as an Outstanding Institution for International Student Education in Jiangsu Province for the seventh consecutive year. The FTA Language Service and Cultural Development Exchange Center of NJUPT was recognized as a Social Practice Center for China’s National Conditions Education for International Students in Jiangsu Universities for 2024. Jin Mei was honored as an Outstanding Individual in International Student Education Management in Jiangsu Province, and Song Weihang earned the title of Outstanding International Student Counselor in Jiangsu Province for 2024.

The conference focused on the high-quality development of international student education in Jiangsu Province, thoroughly analyzing the new challenges and tasks involved in international student education. Discussions were centered on the cultivation of international students in Jiangsu universities, the development of preparatory education for international students, and the construction of English-taught courses for international students.
In 2024, NJUPT successfully completed the quality re-certification of higher education for international students. In this field, NJUPT has striven to maintain a stable scale while emphasizing both quantity and quality and exhibiting its features. The university has effectively advanced international student education under new circumstances, promoting high-quality development and continuing to improve the reputation of the Study Abroad at NJUPT program.
