On January 2, 2025, the award list of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024) was officially released. Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT) secured 3 gold awards, 4 silver awards, and 3 bronze awards. The number of gold awards placed NJUPT third among Class A high-level universities in Jiangsu Province. Reaching a significant milestone, NJUPT earned its first gold award in the New Medical Science category and its first silver award in the Youth Red Dream-Building Journey (referred to as the Red Journey) category. These achievements further reflect NJUPT's commitment to innovation, embodied by its slogan, For its Innovation, NJUPT stands out.

NJUPT's Gold Award-Winning Projects at China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024)
The finals of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (2024) attracted 5.14 million projects and 20.836 million participants across 5,406 schools in 153 countries and regions. Among these, 12,063 projects from 1,993 schools in 149 countries and regions outside China were submitted by 39,380 participants. The competition emphasized innovation-driven development and focused on the transformation of achievements, with outstanding projects attracting intended investments of more than 6.8 billion yuan.
NJUPT has consistently adhered to the reform of its talent cultivation model, building an innovation-oriented talent cultivation system with information technology features. Since the initiation of the project selection process at university level, NJUPT leaders have closely monitored the progress of the projects. The Academic Affairs Office and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education provided comprehensive support, including simulated Q&A sessions, project guidance, and competition preparation, ensuring the optimization and enhancement of the entry projects. Various faculties collaborated closely, fully leveraging resources and interdisciplinary advantages to encourage students to embrace new opportunities and challenges, actively engage in technological innovation, and inject their youthful energy into scientific and technological progress.
